Training of Trainers for Waterlily Weaving Livelihood Training Program

Villar SIPAG together with Mrs. Trina Biazon wife of Mayor Ruffy Biazon of Muntinlupa City, the Gender and Development Office, the Women Producers Cooperative, the Muntinlupa City Technical Institute, DTI and the Rotary Club of Muntinlupa, conducted a Training of Trainers for Waterlily Weaving Livelihood Training Program.

This is for PWDs, solo parents and women of Muntinlupa City for additional income for the family. They hope to replicate the program started by Senator Cynthia Villar in Las Piñas City which gave livelihood to women and clean the Las Piñas-Zapote Rivers of waterlilies which clogged the waterways, prevent flooding and stop it from becoming breeding ground of pesky mosquitoes.
