Training of Trainers on the Production of High Quality Inbred Rice Seeds & Farm Mechanization

The ATI Central Luzon and Villar SIPAG Farm School San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan conducted another Hands on Activities on Training of Trainers on the Production of High Quality Inbred Rice Seeds and Farm Mechanization at E.D Lacson Integrated Farm in Sto. Tomas, Pampanga; There was demonstration on the use of rice machineries. This activity aims to familiarize the participants on the operation of mechanization in rice production. The experience included use of Riding type transplanter, Walk behind transplanter, combine harvester and 4wheel tractor, and Seedling preparation and Hands on Activities on Agro Eco System Analysis (AESA) , establishing Minus One Element Technique (MOET). This is under the Rice Tariffication Law (RTL) that created the RCEF authored by Senator Cynthia Villar to make the rice industry competitive and our farmers to earn more.
